We have traveled by plane with a change of flights in Warsaw. Two girls from the Children%u2019s home %u2018Mieszko%u2019- Klaudia Miklasińska i Iza Ryś have the chance to take part in that trip. Apart from the girls, two boys from the class 1 e Mateusz Pasternak i Filip Kulasa have traveled with us. The Lithuanian%u2019s families turned out to be extremely hospitable. They gave our students the possibility to visit the most interesting places in Vilnus.
During the day we have observed the life of the Lithuanian school, we have seen how it works, we were participating some lessons and we get to know the Lithuanian traditions.
It was the Jewish school with approx. 250 students on a quite high level. One of the school%u2019s drawback was the lack of the gym with what out P.E teacher Konrad Tomaka couldn%u2019t come to terms. We have also visited the Polish School of John Paul II.
In the evenings the teachers have been meeting to set next tasks to do. Our English teacher Renata Sołga %u2013 Łuszcz was acting out the role of interpreter not only of Polish and English but also Russian.
Of course we have visited a lot of interesting places in Vilnus and with tears in our eyes we had to say goodbye on 8th March to 8 people from Finland, 5 from Bulgaria, 5 from Spain , 4 from Turkey with a great hope to see again in Finland and later on in Spain. We can%u2019t wait also to have you staying in Poland.
